The HD33[L]M.2 data logger allows several physical quantities to be monitored in a largevariety of application fields:• Temperature• Relative humidity• Atmospheric pressure• Solar radiation• Rainfall quantity• Wind speed and directionIt has 5 inputs:• One input for relative humidity and temperature with NTC sensor combined probe or,alternatively, for temperature only probe with NTC sensor.• One input for pyranometer.• One input for rain gauge.• One input for cup anemometer.• One input for wind direction vane.It detects the atmospheric pressure by means of an optional internal sensor.If a relative humidity and temperature probe is connected, the dew point temperature iscalculated.Only one probe of each type can be connected. The probes are connected through M12connectors.On request, one of the inputs can be replaced by a 4...20 mA analog input for the connection ofa transmitter with current output, this allows the monitoring capability to be extended to manyother quantities in addition to the ones mentioned above (for example, a level sensor can beconnected).Thanks to GSM/GPRS transmission, the user will not have to remove the data logger from itsposition or reach the place where the data logger is installed to download the data measuredwith the PC: the instrument can send the data via e-mail or FTP and can upload the data onan HTTP server . The HD50R-MB data logger monitors various physical quantities across many applications. It connects to sensors via the RS485 MODBUS-RTU input to measure temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, solar radiation, wind speed and direction (e.g., HD52.3D series anemometers).

A voltage-free contact input allows connection to a rain gauge with a contact output (normally open or closed). It calculates the rainfall rate in mm/h and the daily rainfall quantity.

The data logger supports Ethernet connections and can operate two communication protocols simultaneously: proprietary and Modbus TCP/IP, managing up to 10 TCP/IP clients. It can send data to an FTP address, the Cloud, and via email.

HD33MT.4 most universal compact meteorological data logger series with universal 4G/3G/2G/GPRS modem.Designed to work with power supply from a solar panel, very low power consumption; solar charger and regulator are already integrated in this logger. Just add a solar panel and the rechargeable battery and you are independent from any further power source. But of course it can also be powered directly from a power supply if that is more convenient.

This logger has multiple inputs/outputs:

  • 4 analog independently configurable inputs
  • 2 voltage-free counting contact inputs
  • SDI-12 “Master” port compatible with version 1.3.
  • RS485 port Modbus-RTU configurable as “Master” or “Slave”.
  • Ethernet MODBUS TCP/IP (optional as HD33MT.4/E or HD33LMT.4/E).
  • 2 voltage-free contact alarm outputs.

Optionally, on request, an internal atmospheric pressure sensor can be added to the logger. As the electronic circuits for this are already integrated, this will not influence the number of free available inputs .

The modem will step down (from 4G to 3G to 2G) when a certain network is not available.

HD2013-DB is a data logger that has been specifically developed to capture and store rainfall trends.

It works with a long life lithium battery (BAT-2013DB) that provides, together with the large memory, remarkable recording capacity without user intervention.

The backlit display shows in real time the rain quantity during various time intervals.

The instrument is perfectly waterproof thanks to the use of reed relays, instead of the common push-buttons.

The software HD32MTLogger supplied with the instrument allows setting of the parameters of the instrument, the real time display of the values captured by the data logger, the download to a PC and the process of the stored data.

The connection to the PC is made via the M12 8-pole RS232C serial connector placed at the bottom of the instrument. HD2013-DB can be connected to the most popular types of rain gauges with normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) output contact.

The HD35ED… series of wireless data logging system consists of:

  • One or more HD35ED… series devices: the HD35ED… devices acquire the values measured by the built-in sensors or by the external sensors connected by cable. The data are both stored in the internal memory of the device and transmitted via radio to the receiving unit (base unit/Access Point). Most HD35ED… devices are battery operated and do not require power connections.
  • An HD35AP… base unit (Access Point): receives the measured values from all HD35ED… devices and transmits them to the PC. The HD35AP… base unit has an internal buffer battery with limited autonomy, so it must be powered from the outside by connecting it to the appropriate power supply (optional) or to the PC USB port.
  • Software HD35AP-S: to be installed in the PC, it allows to download and visualize the data, to insert the data in a database and to configure the system.
    The software can be downloaded free of charge here.

We provide dataloggers with integrated sensors and dataloggers with external probes, which can be connected via M12 connectors or terminals depending on the model. To the dataloggers with terminal inputs you can connect:

  • Transmitters with a 0÷20 or 4÷20 mA current output and a 0÷50 mV, 0÷1 V or 0÷10 V voltage output.
  • Pt100 / Pt1000 temperature sensors and thermocouples type K, J, T, N, E
  • Sensors with dry contact (counting of commutations) or potentiometric output

The system may consist of a maximum of 255 devices (including the base unit and any repeaters). Each device is uniquely identified by its own address. Thanks to wireless transmission, installation of the system is extremely simple and fast.

The data loggers of the LR35… series are wireless devices for IoT (Internet of Things) applications that use LoRaWAN® technology for long distance data transmission.

LoRaWAN® technology uses the unlicensed frequencies of the ISM band (for example EU868, US915, AU915, KR920, AS923, IN865) and allows a transmission range of several kilometers depending on the installation position and the urbanization condition of the place where the network infrastructure is located, with extremely limited energy consumption, allowing long operation of battery-powered devices.

With the LR35… series, we provides a wide range of loggers with sensors for all general measurement conditions like temperature, humidity, differential pressure, CO2, PM.

For outdoor applications, we have specific IP67 loggers with connections to pyranometers, rain gauges and soil moisture.

But also we connect any other third party measurement with LoRa as long as it has a standard output: 4-20mA, 0-10V, Modbus-RTU.

HD50… is a data logger serie that supports Ethernet with RJ45 connector or Wi-Fi .

With the HD50 it is possible to start from 1 logger and extend it to a practically unlimited network of loggers. The HD50 settings can be opened from a web browser, as it has a built-in webserver. This way it is also possible to monitor the actual measurements.

Senseca already has the HD35 series, based on RF communication. In some cases when networks are very wide or complex or divided into more than 1 building, a mix of cabled, WiFi and Radio Frequency loggers can be the best solution. The HD50 series have the possibility to be integrated in such hybrid networks.
