The LPPYRA03 series has been designed to provide the best economical solution for measuring solar efficiency.The pyranometers in this series are all based on the thermopile principle, very accurate. This principle provides a μVsignal without the need of an external power supply. To be able to transfer the signal over a longer distance and toprevent interference, mostly types are equipped with an integrated transmitter. When using a 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC orRS485 Modbus-RTU output, an external active power supply is necessary. The output of these series is always relatedto W/m2, making it possible to have a relation to the total solar panel surface.All our pyranometers are made in a way that the electrical system is totally isolated from the housing, making itpossible to mount the pyranometer on any surface, including metal ones, without the need of isolation.Delta OHM is one of the main pyranometer producers worldwide. We produce a full range of pyranometers accordingto the ISO 9060: 2018 - Spectrally Flat Class A, B and C.Each of our pyranometers is calibrated separately during production; all are supplied standard with a Report ofCalibration in accordance with the ISO 9847:1992. Next to this, we are the only pyranometer producer that hasinvested in a full range of 6 accredited ISO 17025 Calibration Laboratories.Pyranometers can be used as stand-alone or in combination with our weather stations. A new, elegantly shaped design disguises, in digital models, a body in which the 3 internal temperature, humidity and pressure sensors allow to keep operating conditions of the sensors always under control.

The leveling device, visible even with the UV resistant protective screen, together with the tilt angle option allow the user to always identify the correct position.

Solar radiation at Earth’s surface is typically defined as total radiation across a wavelength range of 280 to 4000nm (shortwave radiation). Pyranometers are sensors that measure global shortwave radiation.
